Job Vacancies

Director

ITF are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our small team based in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to help us make a significant difference to both livelihoods and the environment.

ITF's mission is to plant, protect and promote trees around the world. Our vision is that in every community trees will thrive for the benefit of people, biodiversity and the environment. We work with local partners to ensure that trees can enrich lives through sustainable management. ITF will consider approaches from anywhere in the world, and will particularly endeavour to support those communities where our intervention can alleviate poverty.

The role of Director is key to the successful transition of our charity to a more outward-facing organisation. This is a new post, and will take over and extend the management function until recently carried out by the Board of Directors. The priorities in the coming years are to increase our level of donor support, strengthen our overseas programme, and develop stronger educational links in the UK and overseas.

Salary: circa £33,000

We envisage this as a full-time post, but are willing to consider a shorter working week.

If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, we would like to hear from you.
