The Northern branch of ITF covers the counties of Cheshire, Cleveland, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Durham, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Yorkshire.
We have been busy planting many thousands of trees over the last thirty years.
Planting highlights:
- Planting an avenue of trees at Fountains Abbey, Nr. Ripon
- 100's of trees planted by a member in East Yorkshire one of the least tree covered areas of the region.
- 2000 trees planted on farmland Nr Skipton to mark the Millennium.
- An Arboretum planted at Jodrell Bank, Cheshire.
- Planting trees within the Forest of Burnley
- New mixed species native hedge at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield
- Many thousand of trees planted with Roots and Shoots in Sheffield
- Planting of an Arboretum on land owned by North West Water at Rivington
- 600 trees planted in York to celebrate the Centenary of Rotary International
- An Arboretum planted at Golden Acre Park, Leeds to mark Diamond Jubilee of ITF
- School planting in the Rochdale area
- Planting trees on Camping and Caravanning Club site near Kendal
- New wood of 500 native trees planted within the Yorkshire Dales National Park

- Branch tree nursery offering free trees, canes and guards to members and friends
