Thinking Locally.....

The International Tree Foundation wants to involve members and non-members alike in helping to make the UK more tree friendly.

We are a grant-making organisation and a grant may be available for your local tree-planting project - click here to find out more.

Many of our county-based branches hold social as well as tree-planting events - see our Diary Page for details.

We understand the difficulty that people have in establishing which trees have Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) on them and then in monitoring threats to those trees.  As part of our 2003 Count to Tree Campaign our members contacted their local County Councils to urge that details of their Tree Preservation Orders are posted on their websites.   Is your Council one of the 'good guys'?  To find out more about TPOs click here.
